About the IAAP
The International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) is a not-for-profit professional association with approximately 40,000 members and affiliates and nearly 600 chapters worldwide.
The Las Positas Chapter serves the greater Tri-Valley region (Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon, and Livermore) and has approximately 50 members.
IAAP works in
partnership with employers to promote professional excellence.
The IAAP
mission is "Enhancing the success of career-minded administrative professionals by providing opportunities for growth through education, community building and leadership development."
IAAP's
purpose is to provide information, education, and training and to set standards of excellence recognized by the business community on a global perspective.
IAAP's
objectives are to elevate the standards of all administrative professionals and to promote their working relationships with management through continuing education, authorized programs, and publications.
